2023-2024

Interim General Manager/COO

Residential community with 245 members, 18 holes of golf, a practice facility including 8 eight tennis courts, multiple swimming pools, a fitness facility, three restaurants, and three bars.


Supervised a $2.1M clubhouse renovation due to a clubhouse flood in December 2022, including oversight of clubhouse designs and furnishings, restructuring a central kitchen, and spearheading the buildout of a new additional  kitchen/restaurant/bar with all ventless kitchen equipment. 


Key Achievements

  • Created the 2024 budget with all department heads – Most department heads had never been involved in a budget process.

  • Achieved over $257K in annual financial savings/benefits – Developed financial saving opportunities and new revenue streams while tactfully renegotiating all vendor agreements.

2022

Interim General Manager

Former home site to the LPGA Thornberry Creek Classic. Complete oversight over a 36-hole facility with a 65,000 sq ft. clubhouse, which hosted over 70K rounds of golf annually, over 40 wedding events, and 30 outside golf events during five months. 


Key Achievements

  • Established customer service and team training initiatives for all staff members, including over 80 employees – Established monthly team meetings and implemented various team building exercises.

  • Developed a new catering contract and increased banquet revenue by 8%. The previous contract was completely overhauled, and new pricing was established for all catering events.

2022

Interim General Manager

Established in 1924, Carlisle Country Club is an 18-hole private members’ club with approximately 275 members offering golf, fitness, restaurants, catering, and swimming amenities.

  • Supported implementing all Bobby Jones staff training initiatives – Established weekly management staff meetings and goals.

  • Implemented several capital initiatives – Including building repairs, golf course improvement, and amenity enhancements.

Jeff's career journey has been marked by numerous challenges that most professionals never encounter, from closing golf courses for development purposes to personal family health needs that took him away from the industry. He has even faced the adversity of his position, being eliminated three times due to financial constraints.  However, his unwavering resilience and determination have consistently propelled him to new heights, maintaining a high level of accomplishment in every opportunity he has managed.
